Os nomeados aos BAFTA TV, entregues pela British Academy of Film and Television Arts, foram anunciados esta quinta-feira, dia 4 de junho. A entrega dos prémios está marcada para dia 31 de julho.
Chernobyl, a série da HBO, lidera as nomeações com 14, incluindo Melhor Mini-Série. Já The Crown, da Netflix leva a medalha de prata, com 7 nomeações nestes BAFTA TV. Empatadas com 6 nomeações estão as séries Fleabag, de Phoebe Waller-Bridge, e Giri/Haji, de Julian Farino e Ben Chessel.
Devido ao cenário actual, há obviamente restrições a manter: a cerimónia terá lugar num estúdio fechado, com distanciamento social e cada nomeado está convidado a aceitar o seu prémio… Virtualmente. A apresentação vai estar ao encargo de Richard Ayoade, que se mostrou surpreso por a entrega de prémios ainda estar de pé.
